Full-time UR students and R Club primary members are eligible for a court reservation account to make indoor tennis court reservations for recreational use. Spouse and child memberships are not eligible for reservation accounts.<\/p>\n

All players are limited to 1 hour of court\/play time per day.<\/p>\n

URochester full-time student court reservations are permitted on courts 1, 2 and 3.<\/p>\n

R Club member reservations are permitted on Court 4.<\/p>\n

All courts that are not reserved are open to first come first served play for all.<\/p>\n

Student accounts expire annually on July 15.<\/p>\n

R Club accounts remain active for the duration of your membership. A lapse in membership will result in your account being suspended. New accounts may be requested online when you renew.<\/p>\n

To uphold the integrity of the system and in fairness to others please adhere to all current guidelines in place for reserving courts at the Goergen Athletic Center.<\/p>\n

Current Court Reservation Guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. All court users are limited to one hour of court time per day.<\/li>\n
  2. Reservations can be made\u00a0one day in advance.\u00a0<\/strong>Currently our reservation system is allowing people to make court reservations for the \u201cday before\u201d starting at 11pm instead of midnight. So, for example, at 11pm on Monday night, you can start making reservations for Wednesday. This is a system parameter that we have no control over.<\/li>\n
  3. Only primary R Club members may hold a reservation account. Reservation accounts are not permitted for memberships of a spouse or child.<\/li>\n
  4. You may only make your reservation under your user account and with the email associated with it. You may not log into someone else\u2019s account to make reservations. Any reservations made with a different email than what is associated with the account will be deleted and your account may be suspended.<\/li>\n
  5. Reservations must start on the hour or half hour. Starting a reservation on the :15 or :45 of an hour may result in cancellation of the reservation.<\/li>\n
  6. If you cannot keep your reservation, please cancel it so that others may use the court on a first come first served basis.<\/li>\n
  7. When making a reservation, you must enter your first initial and full last name where it asks for the Event Name (For example, J. Smith) to comply with university reservation requirements. Complete all required information on the Virtual Reservation page.<\/li>\n
  8. URochester full-time student court reservations are permitted on courts 1, 2 and 3.<\/li>\n
  9. R Club member reservations are permitted on Court 4.<\/li>\n
  10. All courts that are not reserved are open to first come first served play for all, up to one hour per group. After the hour you must concede your court if someone else is waiting to play.<\/li>\n

  12. Failure to comply with the established guidelines will result in a suspension and possible cancellation of your account. Excessive violations by R Club members of these guidelines may result in the termination of your membership. Student violations may result in a referral to the conduct office.<\/li>\n
  13. By requesting this account you agree to all the guidelines associated with a Virtual Reservation Account at the Goergen Athletic Center.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note: When selecting event type on the reservation page you must select OPEN RECREATION. Selecting something other than OPEN RECREATION will cause a scheduling issue with the University of Rochester scheduling system.<\/p>\n

    Varsity, club, and intramural sports take priority for court reservations. If your reservation needs to be canceled you will be alerted by email. Please check your email and the online calendar before you come to campus.<\/p>\n

    Outdoor courts at the Peter Lyman Tennis Center are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved by programs sponsored by the Department of Athletics and Recreation (weather permitting).<\/p>\n
